Earthwork From the Valley Floor to the Mountains

Nearly every project in northern Utah starts in the dirt. Ritz Excavation & Demolition digs, trenches, moves and hauls earth for homeowners, custom builders and developers, from east-side Salt Lake neighborhoods to new subdivisions in Lehi and mountain lots around Park City.

We run our own trucks, so the same company that digs the hole can haul the spoils off or bring in fill and road base. That means fewer subcontractors on your job and fewer days lost waiting on one.

What's Included

  • Residential excavation for new homes and additions
  • Commercial and subdivision earthwork
  • Utility and service trenching
  • Dirt, fill and road base hauling with our own trucks
  • Cut, fill and rough grading
  • Work for homeowners, builders and developers
Built for Utah Ground

Planned for Valley and Mountain Conditions

We plan for lakebed clay, cobble, groundwater and frost before we price the job, so it doesn't turn into a surprise halfway through.

Lake Bonneville Clays

Much of the valley sits on old lakebed soils that hold water and pump under equipment.

Cobble and Boulders

Benches and canyon mouths can turn up rock that changes the dig.

Tight City Lots

Older east-side lots leave little room for equipment and spoils.

Mountain Winters

Frost and snow at higher elevations shorten the dig season.

Who We Work For
